A micro-fine green polishing compound refines metal edges during the final honing and stropping stage. SHARPAL 208H blends aluminum oxide and chromium oxide abrasives in a waxy bar with 1–2 micron particles, described as comparable to approximately 10,000–14,000 grit for removing fine burrs and building a mirror-polished edge.
Rub the compound evenly onto a compatible leather, wood or synthetic strop, using a light application before polishing the blade. The formula suits kitchen and pocket knives, machetes, axes, chisels, gouges and compatible aluminum, stainless steel, common steel, brass, cast iron and copper. Choose an 8-ounce bar, two bars totaling 4 ounces or six bars totaling 4 ounces.
