An automotive glass water spot remover tackles bonded mineral deposits and old surface contamination that ordinary spray cleaner may leave behind. Invisible Glass Glass Stripper uses a cerium oxide-based polish with mild abrasives to remove baked-on water spots, hard-water minerals, road film, oil film, wax, silicone, tar, tree sap, road salt and grime from windshields and other automotive glass when used as directed. It also strips old rain-repellent layers, leaving the glass ready for a new water repellent or ceramic glass coating.
Clean the glass first and let it cool before working. Apply the polish to the included foam applicator, scrub a small area with circular motions, rinse thoroughly with water and dry with a clean cloth. This formula is for glass only and should not be applied to a hot windshield. It removes surface deposits and grade 1 or grade 2 bonded water spots, but the source states that grade 3 etched damage requires professional tools. It also does not repair deep scratches or chips.
