Propane Tank Gauge for 5–40 lb Cylinders with Three Temperature Scales – GasXpert Pack Options
Propane tank gauge adds a color-coded pressure reading between a cylinder and appliance hose so grill, heater, fryer and camper users can check the approximate fuel range at a glance. GasXpert uses separate hot, cool and cold scales to account for the way ambient temperature changes propane pressure.
The solid-brass gauge fits compatible 5- to 40-pound DOT cylinders through a QCC Type 1 inlet and provides a QCC or POL female outlet. Green, yellow and red zones indicate sufficient, low and nearly empty ranges, while a pressure drop can also help reveal a possible leak that requires immediate shutoff and inspection. Single- and two-gauge packs are listed. Hand-tighten the gauge without tools, rotate the dial for visibility, leak-test the connection and select the scale matching temperatures of at least 68°F, 50–68°F or 50°F and below.
