This 5-gallon Type I gasoline safety can uses a single opening for filling and pouring. The gasketed spout cap self-closes to help limit leaks and spills and opens automatically to vent internal vapor pressure, while the included funnel supports more controlled transfer into a suitable fuel opening.
The red can is made in the USA from 24-gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel with a baked powder-coat finish. A non-sparking flame arrestor, fixed handle and no-weld bottom seam support its intended flammable-liquid storage and dispensing role. It meets the listed OSHA and NFPA requirements and carries the stated FM, UL and ULC approvals.
